Published 2005

Waldon Bello, the famous fighter of WTO trade wars of Focus on the Global South and a cast of many entreat people to carry the message of "derail the WTO at it's sixth ministerial in Hong Kong between the 13th and the 18th of December 2005. The sixth ministerial what does that mean? Why is the WTO meeting at Hong Kong important? Why is Professor bello, one of the world's leading trade negotiators advocating the death of the WTO born only 10 years ago? What does it mean when they say no deal is better than a bad one.

All of these issues are complex but they affect the lives of millions of people. There is less than two weeks to go before the WTO meeting in Hong Kong and billions of euros not to mention milions of livelihoods hang in the balance.

Shut down the WTO!
